Meet our members, improve your game!

The club had two successful social evenings in November, well done Liz Garnish and Val Welch.

Deep spike and verti draining on the green was undertaken on the 11th of November. During the recent spell of heavy rain, no laying water was visible, indicating that the recent ground work has been a success.

Suitable coaching bursaries are being investigated by the development advisory group. Anyone interested in becoming a coach please see the notice board in the club house.

The club now has 31 sponsors offering a variety of services. You can find their details on their promotional boards around the club house and on our web site ‘Sponsors’.

The club has now taken out a quarter page ad in the local ‘Word gets around’ publication. This will run for 4 months. In conjunction with Facebook ads along with posters on local council notice boards we have received a number of enquiries regarding new membership.

 

The date for the AGM has been set for Sat 26th February 2022.

D.A.G are continuing their organisation of the introduction of school children to to the club through a partnership with both the middle school and ST Michael’s school.

In conjunction with the Somerset Activities Sports Partnership, we have organised the loan of a short mat which will be delivered to St Michaels in early January.
